Build the pipeline
I generated prospects through Facebook ads, a subscriber list nurtured with daily emails, word of mouth, and referrals.
I understand the owner’s side of the conversation—and what it takes to earn their business, get their systems running, and support them afterward.
I’m Derek. After earning my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Drexel, I moved to North Carolina to learn from a cash-pay practice owner before opening my own clinic.
As a solo owner, I treated patients, handled sales, ran marketing, and built my clinic’s systems in GoHighLevel. That experience became the foundation for The New Age PT, where I sold and implemented business solutions for other PT owners.

I generated prospects through Facebook ads, a subscriber list nurtured with daily emails, word of mouth, and referrals.
I led 60-minute Zoom consultations, identified the owner’s needs, presented relevant solutions, and closed agreements for services priced at $299–$1,500 per month.
I configured the platform, connected existing tools, created desktop and mobile training, and became the client’s contact for help.
“As someone who is currently a solopreneur the PT Marketing Machine is literally my first ‘hire’.”Dr. Mike White, PT
PT Marketing Machine customer. Mike described using the platform for scheduling, intake paperwork, communications, payment collection, review requests, and automated marketing. Shared with permission.
“These are just my everyday uses for it. I have marketing automations set up for birthday emails that go out to patients, quarterly marketing campaigns, and holiday specials that just run without me having to do anything, I honestly don't know how people run a clinic without it.”
I built a reusable GoHighLevel configuration, then handled each clinic’s setup. My aim was to make daily use straightforward: schedule patients and take payments, with supporting workflows already in place.
Websites when needed; scheduling and reminders; intake forms and follow-up; birthday reactivation messages; post-visit feedback.
Phone-number transfers, staff access roles, Google Calendar synchronization, email, Facebook, and payment integrations.
A short training course walked owners and staff through computer and phone use. I remained their contact for troubleshooting and support.
These are examples of how I would structure discovery. The answers determine what I present—and whether there’s a fit.
My platform experience is in clinic business operations. I bring that knowledge to healthcare technology sales without claiming EHR sales experience.
